Black Anodized Aluminum Mounting Ring

Each polarizer is mounted in a 12.7 or 25.4 mm diameter black anodized aluminum ring to simplify handling of these 0.5 mm thick components.

All Polarcor polarizers are broadband antireflection coated to increase the transmission of polarized light.

The Polarcor Advantage

Polarcor is a dichroic glass polarizer with an extinction ratio greater than 10,000:1 over a fairly broad wavelength range--greater than sheet polarizers or beamsplitter cubes. Performance characteristics such as extinction ratio, transmittance, and angular acceptance are comparable to Calcite polarizers at a much lower overall cost for great value. Compared to other simple sheet polarizers, transmission is relatively high, ranging from greater than 79% for the visible products to greater than 94% for the near infrared products.
